I'm nearing the end of my themed short I'm submitting to EC, and really, really wanted to finish it tonight. But because of many interruptions, it was not to be:(
Tomorrow, I'll finish it and get some more work done on my website. That's such a long process, getting the website finished. It's ongoing, I know, but just getting to that point where I can be happy to show it to people, well, that takes awhile. I'm not there yet, although I do have the links up, and I sent DDD the link to the page I made for her.
I am thinking of putting up excerpts from my books on my site.
There are now four blogs that I am writing to; the WordPress one I'm going to keep strictly as a writing blog and nothing else, and then there is this one, the Live Journal one, and the one on MySpace!
Well, settling into bed now.
Goodnight...

i just found your blog. it is comforting to read about someone else trying to do some of the same things as i am. i just published my first novel, started a blog and am now undertaking the dreaded website, great idea about putting your book excerpts on the site. look forward to following your progress!
You've published your first novel! Congratulations, Sheri! That is so wonderful! Do you mind me asking who you signed with? I'll check to see if you've left me your email, and if so, I'll email you. If not, please keep me updated on your progress as well, and give me the links to your upcoming website and your blog.
Let me know if I can be of any help. Websites are really fun, if you find a good host you're comfortable with, ditto on the editor.
Thanks for posting ;)
i actually self published with iuniverse. i was becoming more and more frustrated with the whole process of trying to find an agent so i thought about self publishing. then, i talked to several bookstore owners, writers etc. who told me self publishing is a great way to get your self out there in the beginning. i really like iuniverse because it is print on demand, and it is a barnes and noble company. so far so good...
I went to your website after you commented, Sheri, and discovered that you were self published. Good for you! Let me know how it goes:)
